Community rules
Khaali is for real openings posted by the people who can actually rent them out.
What you can say about who fits
Shared homes are personal, so a listing for a room may state who it suits: gender, food in the kitchen, smoking and drinking, occupation, and whether couples are welcome. A household may also say which faith it follows and whether it is open to all faiths or prefers flatmates who share its own. Whole flats and houses rented to tenants describe the tenant type (family, bachelors, anyone) and food, nothing more.
What is not allowed
- Excluding people by religion or caste, in any field or in free text.
- Posting a place you are not authorised to rent out, or someone else's number.
- Fake listings, bait rents, or asking for money before a visit.
- Harassing anyone who contacts you through a listing.
Every listing has a report link. Reported listings are hidden while we review them, and repeat offenders lose the ability to post.
